Originally from Eagle River, Alaska, Captain Bryan is an avid Alaskan Outdoorsman. He has explored expansive areas of Alaska and ran charter halibut fishing operations out of Seward before bringing his skills and talents to Kachemak Bay, Cook Inlet, and Homer Halibut Hunters.
Bryan, usually operates Scorpius our 33′ custom made Alaska halibut boat but with his versatility you may find him operating any one of our boats on any given day. Regardless, you’ll be in good hands for your day on the water with us on Captain Bryan’s boat.
The summer of 2023 will probably be Captain Bryan’s last summer fishing with us in Homer, Alaska. After 17 years int he coast guard and several summers running fishing charters in Alaska, Captain Bryan has decided to make a change. He has been accepted into the police academy and will serve as an officer on the water.
